Anthem Hack Media Alert
Valued friends, colleagues, and partners,
We want to alert you of some urgent news: hackers gained access to one of Indianapolis-based Anthem’s IT systems exposing a multitude of information about employees and customers such as:
- Names
- Mailing Addresses
- Email Addresses
- Birthdays
- Employment Information
- Income Data
- Social Security Numbers
The breach of information, however, did not include any of the following:
- Credit Card Information
- Banking or Financial Credentials/Data
- Medical Claims
- Diagnostic Codes
- Testing Results/Medical Histories
Although Anthem is currently working with a cyber-securities firm to reevaluate their systems, we highly recommend that you vigilantly review and monitor your accounts and organization security.
